Bishops Hall, Award-Winning Barn Conversion 

A complete conversion of a former agricultural barn into a high-spec rural home.
The project included oak frame restoration, lime plaster systems, a full mechanical and electrical installation, an air source heat pump, wet underfloor heating, Crittall-style glazing and a bespoke steel staircase.
This project won both the National and Midlands Federation of Master Builders Award for Large Renovation Project in 2025.

Shell Barn – Grade II Listed Barn Conversion, Worcestershire

A full conversion of a Grade II listed barn, delivered in line with conservation and heritage requirements.
Works included structural retention, oak frame repairs, traditional lime plaster, breathable wall construction, new glazing, full interior fit-out and services installation.
The building was taken from historic shell to modern family home while preserving its listed character.

Bourne Farm – Class Q Steel-Frame Barn Conversion, Worcestershire

A steel agricultural barn converted into a single dwelling under Class Q permitted development.
The existing steel structure was retained and enclosed with a new insulated roof build-up and cladding system.
Works included new foundations and floor slab, full mechanical and electrical installation, underfloor heating, air source heat pump, internal studwork and complete interior finish.

FAQs

Do you convert listed barns? Yes. We have completed Grade II listed conversions and work directly with conservation officers and heritage architects.

Can a barn be converted without full planning permission? Some agricultural buildings qualify under Class Q permitted development. We can advise at the early stage.

How long does a full conversion take? Most projects take six to twelve months depending on structure, access and level of specification.

Do you carry out partial refurbishments? We specialise in full barn conversions and partial refurbishments of large projects.
